The
joint graduate school (doctoral level) of the University of Oulu and
NorNet was established in 2002. The graduate school aims to support multidisciplinary
graduate studies and research in environmental field. It has six themes,
expertise fields of research: |

- Human-made
environments and land-use
- Environmental
informatics
- Environmental
